My aunt has a pair that look exactly like that! they had the grooves filed off the hammers for gunfighting supposedly by a famous gunslinger relative! I wish I could remember his name! 8)

I was at are local museum the other day saw a old news paper cliping that said there was a reward for a realy ornate six shooter lost on the hunting trail by whare I live. The news paper was from the early 30's. Hope to get some old maps to this old hunting camps I hope to locate the out house & dump but I will keep my eye out for that six shooter. SASQUASH<><

Those old original Colt six shooters are becoming very rare. It looks refinished. No biggie if it was done right. I know what one is worth but I bet many on the forum would be shocked! Montyr
