Had a couple of hours this afternoon on the harvested potato field, would have spent longer but it was too hot for my old bones ..
just before giving up for the day my faithful 8 year old T2 gave me a really sweet sharp signal which l was sure to be something good
and there it was only a couple of inches down a small grey unmistakable disc that turned out to be a Silver penny.
Only 17mm diameter and weighing in at 1.2 grams.
Henry 3rd silver penny class 7 b. minted in London 1236 to 1240.AD.. by the moneyer Ravlf.
