Found old home site.

Sheet of tin?, 12X10 inches, thickness of less 1/16 inch.
Down about 7 inches, was sure it was the top of a
chest :'(

HENDRYX is lightly stamped on one side only, reversed,
stamp hardly shows on reverse side.

Web gave me a fishing reel and birdcage maker?

Any help appreciated.

have a good un...........

Sherm,
Doesnt it look like if you bent the rimmed sides back down that it could be a lid for a box? Like something that maybe Hendryx lures were shipped or sold in?

Here you go.

It's the bottom tray for a Hendryx bird cage.

Right On! NHBENZ

Angelo,

again thanks.

Angelo sent me a PM with e-bay info:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...search.dll?from=R40&satitle=+7758152100&fvi=1

I was working under assumption this site would be 1940's or so.
From the info Angelo gave me it may now be moved up on my
list a places to return to. Could now be early 1900 site. :o

Note for new hunters: I found a piece of trash at the site, which I took the
time to follow up on. With Angelos help it may lead to
more trips to the location and better finds

Info. and folks on this board sure can help in the hunt.

all have a good un...............
