Hematite adz or celt ?

This is a hematite adz or celt that I found this past spring. It is 2 1/4in. tall by 2in. wide. very smooth and is beveled on booth sides. It was found on a camp that has old growth oak timber growing on it and over looks a old creekbed. The small piece of hematite in the frame was also found on this site. thanks for looking.

Looks like it has the shape, but the bit end doesnt look sharpendIs it

The bit is worked in on both sides to form a point or edge but not very sharp.
