This was a 5 hour Cru'dad solo hunt, I had a bike accident yesterday & may have bust my collar bone. Writing this with my left hand...
The Archies backed up our original theory that this field was settled in the 6th-9th C. Lots of post holes found & what might be a large aisled hall.
They also answered the question of why we had a big blank spot in the corner, it was all quarried out for gravel.
Finds were not that many today but we handed over;
1 Scrappy
Saxon Small-Long Brooch catchplate
Tudor Book Clasp
Lots of nails...
