Was going through coin rolls today and found a v nickel that is EXTREMELY corroded. I could just barely make out the date of 1891( I think). How can I clean it to make the features more distinguished??

most likely a lost cause
That's what I was thinking. Post a picture if you can, but in many cases if it's very corroded, doing anything to it will just make some of the layers flake off. Sometimes you just have to leave it as is. Best of luck.
