I found a gold medalian with the name ABE on it. It looks gold-plated to me. The following was on the back of it:

E 1/20 12KGF

I will post picks tomorrow. It also has a hole in it that may have had a jewel in it...

the E means electroplate and the 1/20 i think means 20%.in europe they spell carat with a k, so maybe the 12 KG is the gold plating and the F just means the core being filled (non-precious metal). that's just a guess.

I found a similar medalion this week (Not with Abe) but gold plated. Sounds like a neat little keeper though.
