This is apparently a valve stem to something. Can anyone tell me more about it? I know that Schrader was affiliated with tires....I have an old tire guage bearing their name. Thanks for any/all info.

Tool used by auto* techs to remove/replace/tighten valve stem cores in valve stems, also used in
A/C systems.

Cool find, i have several but not one as old as yours appears to be.

*or any tech working with tires and A/C systems or other applications needing some type of air pressure
such as wells.

it's a valve stem from a old innertube, they were threded so they could be nutted to the rim. still used on some extreem use vehicles today.(ie) dirt bike motorcycles.

Yep, i could very well have it wrong. If it is indeed a tubeless stem it`s very odd as i have never seen one "squared". I googled for pics and all i find is the round type and none with the name stamped on it.

I`ll try to dig out the core tools i have for comparison.

Check it out....I think I might have answered my own question to some degree. It appears that this went to an early Harley or Indian Motorcycle.

Modern restoration piece that has a base to accomodate going over a new stem and give it the appearance of an early one. Cool!
