First thing that it shouts to me, is that it's been chemically aged to look older than it is, other than that I can't add much other than guessing tourist piece.

What the :censored:

:icon_scratch: A spooky looking effigy of Bing Crosby ,
wearing a clown hat , ninja weapon .

I dunno what it is, but it reminds me of Mr. Spock's weapon in the original series episode "Amok Time"AmokTime.jpg

looks African. Possibly a momento from a missionary or hunter who brought it back stateside?

Looks like something Scooby Doo mighta dug up on Spooky Island! LOL!
That, or them spooky demons things from there........ :laughing7:

Cool find!

looks like a decorative piece... like Crusader said, looks like it was made to look old. But I'm no expert by any means.

Maybe it's the knife used in the African Manhood Rights of Passage !!!

Maybe South American,Peru being a possibility I recall seeing some tribal pictures of statues and they had pipes in the mouth. It seems to be representing a sacrificial axe (beheading axe). But it could be a modern reproduction for the tourist trade down there.

I was thinking the same.

Same thoughts from me as well.

I have no I idea but its a cool find and its very cool to meet someone from Enid. My family is from there... Well, Enid and Garber. Good luck to you!

I do know a lot about applying chemically induced patina to copper and brass, and the piece definitely looks like this has been done, and a poor job at that. The workmanship is also rather poor, so I agree with all who say recent tourist item, and I think Asia is the place of origin.

Yay! They threw it away for a reason. Good find from the dump though. :unhappysmiley:
