Found this 2 piece button today at a early 1700s site. Back is rusted so can't get any info off of it. Size of a quarter. Looks like a anchor with a cross or axe on top the anchor. right side of button lookes like it got poked with something long ago. Any ideas on age and what it is? Thanks in advance.
