OPPPS -- 1823 dutch coin 1 C = cent---my goof!!! not waering mt glasses mistook the 1 C for I C --- must remember to wear my glasses !

The Dutch had a 1 cent coin in that year.

Could have fooled me. I thought the "Cent" wasn't introduced to the Kingdom of the Neatherlands until 1833; and that only the 'duit' , stuiver and gulden were minted in 1823.
