I dug this spoon today in the woods where a farm once stood in at least the mid to late 1800s. It is small, and appears to be silver. The front has a very nice monogram. The back has three Hallmarks. The first one appears to be a castle with the number 30 under it. The middle Hallmark I can't make out, though it's sort of looks like an H. The last Hallmark looks like an E with a slash through it. Any ideas on where this was made and how old? I was thinking Edinburgh because of the castles, but I just can't figure out the other Hallmarks. I am always impressed with the knowledge of people on this site, so I bet someone will figure it out . Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks!!!

The three towers is a silver mark for Denmark

You're fast, and undoubtedly correct! Thanks so much. After reviewing the link you provided, I think the 30 denotes 1930. Further, the Assay Master at that time was Christian Heise, whose role was apparently to certify the purity of the silver. i think his mark matches the mark that I could not quite identify on my spoon, but thought had an H.

That link was great! Thanks again.

Good ID @tamrock.

@lenmac65, you're correct that it's from 1930 and assayed under Heise. The maker is I. Ernst of Assens, in operation between 1893-1937 with this 'IE' mark:

Its a nice find. Danish silver is highly desirable amongst collectors. I myself find it very unique and beautiful in design.
