Help with old lock??

Found this today while searching an old ghost town, used to be a small railroad depot town, maybe 5 or 6 buildings. Google search turns up nothing on Washington locks. Wanting to see if anyone knows any information on this particular lock. No other markings that I can find other than the "Washington"
