I found these two heavy pieces of metal a month or so back, and just today I decided to clean the dirt off of them to try to determine what they are.
Turns out they are parts to an "E.Z. ACTION LADDER" manufactured by the PATTERSON LADDER CO., OAKLAND, CALIF.
Cool, but I can't find any information on the Patterson Ladder Company in Oakland California, and I'd love to try to get a date range for these items.
Any ideas on how to find some history on this Oakland, CA ladder company?
dime added to last picture for scale...
