I've been wondering what this is for a while, and never have seen anything else like it. It was obviously hit with a hammer or something. It may not even be that old and could even be repurposed from what it used to be, but I've never seen anything like it and I'm curious as heck if anyone on here knows what it may be....

Tent stake maybe

Dang that could very well be it. A far better product than the little crappers they sell today if it is a tent stake!

I was originally thinking some kind of mason tool. But I havent found any pictures of anything that match this --really on anything. A couple of the old tent pegs I've seen are sort of close, but this thing has been a tough one for me to figure out. I'm not good at it anyway :)

Is the nub on the top broken? It looks like an old piton.

Part of the spike that lineman use to climb telephone poles. Or lumberjack to climb trees. ???
