Help with info vintage jewelry company Tranel

I have a 3 piece set of pearl and gemstone earrings and matching bracelet set with solid 14kt gold beads etc. The company says Tranel but I can not find any info for this company. I only found a Tranel company that made watches and clocks and even that company doesn't have any info about it. Can anyone help me with info? also wondering what kind of gemstone bead it could be? Doesn't really have the completely solid look of onyx or jet. Thanks Kathy
