help with identification of coin/medal

This piece is as big as a half dollar. Has a reeded edge both sides. Writing all around the edge both sides.Might be French. Looks like the date is in roman numerals underneath the side that has the lady getting crowned by an angel.( reminds me of how my ex wife thought she should be treated.)..... Has the same kind of elegant look as a Castorland medal. Anybody seen this piece? Also, I have posted some other interesting coins and whatnot at my website:jeff pitts-relichunter.com

Not sure if my email was sent. This looks like a religious medal that was common for popes to authorize in celebration of some "event". It has an angel and a face on the obverse. Letters were "CONON XX" that I could make out. There was a pope named CONON that was in office from 630 to 687 ad. I think this might be one of those. You could confirm by taking a couple of his res pics to send to the vatican and they might be able to confirm it for you. I think you have something quite old....
