Hello there! While I was metal detecting today, I dug this small rock up. My metal detector was hitting at iron, nickel and possibly another metal.. hard to tell. It was found about 10 inches deep under roots to a old tree lol. I have dug up alot of melted metal and it doesn't look or feel like that. It looks like a rock but it is slightly heavier than what you would expect. I scratch off a piece of a crust like material in a small corner and revieled small metallic flakes. Also has weird line designed but mostly just on one side. What could this rock be that my metal detector picked it up almost a foot underground? I also want to add that it was found in Yamhill County Oregon. Thanks!!

Not a meteorite. :occasion14:
