Help with ID

Found this medallion today at a sale in which they were liquidating the estate of an aeronautical engineer, who, the people at the sale told me, was a pioneer in that field.

It says "Joint Tactics" on one side and "We Bring you the World" on the other.

I believe the base metal is nickel (not silver unfortunately) and both sides have some pretty cool designs on them.

Has anyone seen this before?
