I found a coin today inside the foundation of an old boarding room/cathouse in New Mexico. Thought it was a token at first, had already found 2 Colorado tax tokens and a Colgate Palmolive shave cream token. I cleaned it up a little and thought it might be a coin, instead. The obverse is nigh unrecognizable, I thought I might have seen a profile but it could be my eyes. The reverse, on the other hand, appears to show a crown sitting on top of a shield. The is almost lost lettering around the shield, but all I can make out is either USCH or ISCH at the 6 o'clock position, and I can almost make out a date in the 11 o'clock position, ending in either 25 or 85.

I know the scan's not great, but any help would be great, thank you!

From what I can see, appears to be an Austrian Kreuzer (or fraction thereof) dating c. 1815 to 1850's

That would explain the USCH. Forgot to mention, it measures exactly 1 inch across now, might have been slightly wider at one point? Appears to be brass or copper.
