I have some buttons I need some help with.

I've searched the internet to no avail trying to date this Wrangler button by the logo. I understand "Wrangler" has been around since about 1943? I thought I had found it on some 70's clothes but the script is a little different on the "g" and "l".
Note: the script on the button is not "white", that is powder.

I have not found anything on this "13 Star" button/snap (?) either. Although there are several posted on TNet I didn't find an ID on one. Nana has several but wasn't sure if they were WWI to present or WWII to present. Is it army, navy, marines, etc.?

Thanks for looking!

Wish I could help you with the buttons, DB but I am clueless. I simply adore your avatar...is this something you found? Can you tell me more about it?

Yes RR, I dug it at Nana's cousins house. It's marked "sterling", has eagles on both sides. It reminds me of a graduation ring but there are no other markings.
It's one of my favorites too! Thanks!

The 13-stars button is classified by the U.S. Army Quartermaster Corps as, "Button, Tack, M-1941" and since 1941 has been used on various military clothing and fabric equipment closures.

Nice finds Diggerbug, I have a set of coveralls with those buttons, my dad gave them to me a couple of years ago. He used them when he was stationed in Korea during the war.
