Help with button

FD button found at beach. I assume it is a fireman’s button, but can’t find the exact button. Anyone have an idea of time frame?

It is a fire Department button but without a backmark it will be hard to pin a date on it. The two piece construction could date it anywhere from the early 1840s up to present day. If I had to put a date on it I would guess the last half of the 20th century. It could have had a wreath around the perimeter or the name of a specific fire department.
