Hi!
I have just started metal detecting and found a bullet that Google hasn't been able to help me with. It's from NW Florida. The area had a few encampments during the Civil War. I am a newbie, this was our first day out but this seems smaller and shaped differently than most civil war bullets I came across when researching. The closest I could come up with was possibly an Enfield bullet judging by shape and size. It could also be more modern, I am far (very far) from an expert...

There's a consistent groove along the bottom and the base is concave but not deep. There are scratches that look like grooves towards the middle but I think they are just scratches.

Thanks for checking it out, happy hunting! : )
