Help with buckle

Hello again everyone I was going over some hunted spots got a great single and pulled out this buckle anyone know how old it is

Don't know much for sure. I have not seen another credited to civil war period. And going by the hook it is considered to be a post civil war design. It is a sword belt style buckle.

Great buckle!

It looks exactly like the buckle issued to U.S Marines for our dress blues. Anodized brass, the blank plate is issued to Pvt. Pvt. 1st class and Lance Corporals

I am not sure how long they have been issued, I was in from 2000-2006

There is no match for it in either Kerksis',or O'Donnels,or any Military Ordinance Pub's I have.....
