Help with Buckle ID

Found this on an old farm about a foot away from a KGll. Around 9" deep. I checked the Ross Whithead book and didn't see anything that matched up. Any help with other resources besides the Whithead book would be greatly appreciated!

Me too! I thought it was a shoe buckle but was hesitant to say that cause I couldn't get a positive ID on it.

Nice resource!

The buckle is 18th to very early 19th C. By @ 1820, no one was wearing shoe buckles anymore.
