These were found in the same general area where civil war artifacts have been found and the same area where I found a pristine large Tombac button.

1. This one is weird maybe some kind of cultivating wheel or piece off a stove?

2. I found this right near where I dug up an old mallet head. Could it be a piece off a civil war tent?

3. Lead ball. Maybe from a shotgun?

4. Not sure on this. I thought it might be some type of hook, but it has a hole as you see (this rang up as iron).

5. I almost threw this away. It is leather with a snap button. You can see little holes where it would be sewn on something.

6. A little buckle

Thanks for any clarification on these.

The one you thought was a hook makes me think of a kickstarter from a motorcycle but more than likely a pedal arm for a tractor brake or something like that. The one that is like an impeller I thought like a pull starter return like on a chain saw or a mower.the rope type pull start.

The last two pictures are early 1900's clothing related...the snap button is from suspenders and sometimes the button is stamped with the name of the suspender manufacturer. The last photo image.jpgis also a piece I found in a 1912 logging camp, it could be suspender/garter related
