Help with a "depose" Mark on medallion?

I found a Pope Pius 12th Medallion ( about a quarter size) the only mark I could find on it was a KISSING & depose Italicized. By golly I think its silver!!
It definitely has weight to it and is non-magnetic. Will try and post pix if needed.
Found this on Ebay Hmmm??? Looks very similar.

Just tidying up some blasts from the past (including some very ancient ones), largely for the benefit of anyone searching the site for information.

Kissing GmbH is a German manufacturer of religious medals and souvenirs among other things, founded in 1850 by Heinrich Kissing and still going strong today with a market across Europe. The word “deposé” just means “registered” (in French) and is short for either “marque deposé” indicating “Kissing” to be a registered trademark in a French-speaking country, or for “modèle deposé” to indicate that the medal design is protected. So it was likely produced for church sale in France, Belgium or Switzerland.
