Help with a Civil War map legend please?

I've got this kind of crude map and I'm attempting to decode this legend.
I can see that it's telling me that the XX rectangle is Steele"s division. Right?

I can also see that the X rectangle is Geode"s brigade. Right?

And I can tell that the rectangul with Cosby under it is a Confederate brigade, and the symbol I can't make out is Clark"s battery. Correct?

Other than that, I can't make out the symbols, or letters.

Any help from my fellow diggers is greatly appreciated! [emoji12]

Yes DirtfishinMS, you are on the right track. The names are the individuals who commanded the various units and as you stated, each symbol reflects the type/size as well. Your photo is a little blurry so it is hard to tell some markings but you can get a better grasp from the link. Just scroll down about half way and you'll see it on the right and center.
