Woods were getting "summer tangled" near Gaines Mill where I was hunting today. Slow day. One three-ringer and a piece of schrapnel, but what kind of bullet is this? Flat base, and either .44 or .45 cal. Three rings, or 2 and the impact makes it LOOK like 3? Stumped . . .

It could possibly be mushroomed. That is when the bullet hits something extremely hard and flattens the tip. I don't know what kind of bullet it is though.
