help! What is it?

hello,
My son found round heavy white circular marble like stones in our in-laws backyard. The property is in WVA near Ohio where they know Indians lived. What are they?

They could be a # of things, however based on your description " round heavy white circular marble like stones" they may be lead musket balls.
Do they look like these?

Hello,
I don't have a picture because my son left them at the in laws. The do look like the picture of musket balls and are about the size a little bigger than a marble but they are clear white and almost shiny but no they aren't marbles. They are heavy and have no chips or dings.
