Probably quartz with something else..

The pebble is totally dry in the image. Its brightness is greasy and its hardness is high (I cannot line it with sapphire).
In this composition the general form can be seen that it has, as one doubles pyramid within another formation and on a base.

Sapphire on the Moh's scale has about 9, as does Corundum

How is it with Diapheny? (Se below)

Which one fits best?
Do you have access to a Uv lamp for mineral ID?(some diamonds can be found this way, as can other)
It's not quartz if the hardness is over 9..(quartz has 7-8 approx)

Hello:
I have tried to line it with a sapphire (artificial or industrial) and when observing with a magnifying glass nonencounter no mark; the white dust that is in the surface cleans easily and it is observed that it comes from the sapphire.
Diapheny: the edges are transparent (colorless), as well as all the outer or superficial layer. In the interior under the transparent layer it is opaque, dark blue color
I annexed a photography of another pebble found in the same area. It has the same outer layer (thinner) transparent and dark blue in the nucleus.
They do not react with ultraviolet light.

I think the luster "Resinous - the look of resins such as dried glue or chewing gum" would fit into this rock.
Mindat.org might also be helpful to you, I am not sure I think they also ID minerals??(maybe someone can confirm that?)
I can't give a positive ID, I only seem to find diamonds that have higher hardness them 9, but just don't have the right look. And diamonds are to react to UV lamps you have a rock hound UV lamp right? (I.E Raytech)
I am still skeptic to that sapphire.(you have quartz right? see if it leaves a scratch on the surface of this rock)
