I posted this on the "Today's Find" and it was suggested that I post the details and the pictures over here as well.
While searching today with our metal detector, my fiance found an arrow (?) or spear shaped item.
We have no idea what it may be.
He detected it with his MD, but it appears to be made of rock. The pinpointer is also saying metal.
Could it be a meteorite?
It REPELS a magnet....Strangest thing...not a strong repulsion like you would experience with opposite poles of a magnet, but a repulsion none-the-less.
The first picture is of the dirty item, the second is after it was cleaned, and the third is the back.
Any ideas?
