Are you sure there aren't more letters? That mark to the left makes it look like it was a longer word that the center part got polished out.

Dear TreasureNet forum,
I am trying to identify the maker of a silver bird, similar in shape to an oil lamp.It was made in Israel in the 1970's.The name is a variation of Azan.It could be Azam or Azak. In any of these forms I can't discover anything about the maker. Any assistance would be appreciated.
Would help with better pictures in focus.

Thanks for your reply. I am not sure how the two marks are connected. The higher, smaller mark seems to have a pattern of some sort.I thought it might be a grade or a symbol but I it's too small for me to discern. There was never any other intervening marks. There was never been any over serious attempts to polish it. I've known it all its life!

I meant perhaps the maker polished it off.
