Any that go bleep !!!!!
I found these on my local beach in West Sussex England a while ago, they are a 8 cm and a 6 cm long copper strip with hand engravings of flowers/leaves.The interesting thing is the beach is on an ancient harbour mouth going back centuries with historic land surrounding it, so i'm not dismissing them as being very old ???

Sorry about the camera quality but it the best i could get them

Hi, interesting finds.
I manipulated the pics a bit with the primitive programme I have available. The engraving seems fairly casual and a mass produced look, although by hand.
On the lower strip, about one quarter way up from the bottom, is that text of some sort, running the length of the strip?
Cheers, Mike
