I use a smart phone and don’t own a computer. I can’t figure out how to load photos to this site.
Found a four ring flat bottom lead bullet today. It’s 7/8ths inch wide and 1.5/8ths inches long. I’m trying to identify it.
THINK I FIGURED IT OUT!!
Remeasured it’s 21 millimeters. The black powder 8 gauge shotgun takes a 21.2 millimeter slug.
Was told it was possibly 10 gauge but that slug is 19.69 millimeters. I’m pretty sure it’s an 8 gauge black powder shotgun slug. Dropped. Thoughts???

Welcome to tnet LynnS

Could be a slug shot from old black powder shotguns or older more modern shotguns. Perhaps 8 gauge but probably been a long time since they made one that bug. Nice interesting find anyway.

wow, that is a large bullet. I’d kinda hate to shoot that one but I would. Looks a tad modern but I’ve been wrong once before.

Thank You LynnS
Not sure how I attached the photos. I’ll figure it out.

Wow, that's like a large bullet there, not something you go to war with trenching around carrying a weapon that heavy to shoot with, looks more like an early 1900's large game shot aka Elephant gun round
