Help Please... Suspender clip or?????

Could this be a Suspender clip or something else?? It's brass and 1 1/2" long and made of brass. Says PARIS on the wider bar, and MADE IN USA on a narrow bar. Would be cool to have it ID'd. Thanks in advance

The word Paris on the strap-buckle means "Paris brand," not made-in-Paris. They were a popular brand of suspenders and garters here in the US during the first half of the 20th Century.

You say the strap-buckle measures 1.5-inches wide, so it is probably from a garter-strap, not suspenders-straps, which were wider than garter-straps.
