I think these are called KY geodes containing quarts inside. The first two pics weigh 71 pounds and the third weighs 54 pounds. I've got lots of others that are smaller. I was just trying to find out what these might sell for and if they are in fact what I say they are.

The more 'hollow' they are , with good crystals, they will sell for more than ones that are solid inside.

I cracked open one about the size of a softball and it was wasn't real hollow. Just a small space in the middle but that may be because it was such a small rock. The entire inside looks like some kind of crystal stuff. I have seen some larger ones that were cracked open that were hollow that were found in the same area as these. My grandmother has about 50 of these around her flower beds and there are hundreds more in the woods behind her house I just never new they were worth anything or I would have gotten them a long time ago. I guess I'll have to take a truck down there and fill it up with them. I'll post pics of this one once I get my camera back from my girlfriend. What's the best way to sell them? Ebay?
