The symbol after the '14' appears to be the Greek letter for 'psi'; just before 'omega', the last letter in the Greek alphabet-- if that's of any help.
Don.....
I see what your saying it is psi but what the heck is that a hallmark or another way to say 14k??

Great find!

Maybe Sloan & Co.

Here is a mark on a crucifix and I pulled a paragraph from another item description of a brooch-

FAB Quality Sloan CO 14K Gold Rosary Crucifix | eBay

Victorian Equestrian Brooch - Bijoux Extraordinaire

This brooch was created by Sloan & Co., a maker of fine jewelry who created elegant gold brooches, cufflinks and other jewels. Many of the firms pieces are like miniature, richly detailed works of sculpture. The maker's mark for Sloan & Co. (a lyre or trident) is visible to the left of the precious metal mark ("14") stamped on the clasp.
