Help on bullet found

Hello, I was wondering if anyone could give me some information on this bullet. We found a few there.

You would need to measure the diameter with a caliper, then weigh the bullet in grams.

Modern copper jacketed lead core hunting bullet.

there are several websites from collectors, that can help id your bullet.
I occasionally use this one.....

If I am seeing correctly that's a pretty tiny caliber and a lead exposed nose. No more than .223" or .224" by the looks. And that is a good candidate given the cannelure.

I'd guess a 52 to 55 gr. soft point from an old style .223 Rem/5.56mm NATO . . . or a .222 Rem or .222 Rem Magnum, etc., etc..

It looks to measure about .250 so I'll guess it's a .243. Gary
