Help on an ID for a friend

Hey y'all a friend of ours needs help identifying something he found yesterday. He knows what the first two pieces are but needs help with the far object on the right.
1) A WWII Coastal
Artillery Collar Disk
2) A brass leaf and rose (perhaps part of a
broach)
3) A brass mystery item. What do you think?
It clearly attached to another metal piece in two places:
A handle for a candleholder? Part of a musical
instrument?

For me to do anything with the mystery piece, I'd need to know where it was found (house, woods, beach...) and see pics of it from all angles with a size reference included.

My guess is that it could be part of a lantern.

Matt it was found in a field and maybe you could compare its size to the collar disk assuming that the disk would go on a shirt? I'll ask my husband to ask our friend to provide some more pictures. Thanks for the the input people.

The tube doesn't happen to be hollow is it? -For some reason it reminds me of a perfume atomizer tube.
