Help on 2 items I dug today

Can anyone help with these? The round object i think is from an old trolley line. I have found several railroad spikes in the same area but I’m not sure what this would be for. The other item appears to be some kind of hook. I found it in a civil war area but I’m not sure what it could be. Any help is appreciated!

I Agree The hook is twisted and hammered fairly common but old

broken grinder wheel with arbor and nut?the grinder wheel looks to be a fiber type.
