Hello everyone. I found 2 buttons yesterday at my new colonial hunting spot. I posted my finds on today's finds and have not had any bites yet. I thought that maybe I would get some ideas on this side. The large button has no markings and appears to be copper. The small naval looking button is copper as well and there are no marking on this as well. It looks like 2 holes have been drilled into it so that it could be worn as a button. I could be totally wrong on this theory. Maybe that's the way it was made. I don't know. It just a little odd to my eyes. any help would be appreciated Thanks for looking Ron
