Hello folks,

I have this photo saved in my ID folder but I’m trying to find which TNet member posted it and reach out to them to see if they’d be willing to take a high def photo of this item for inclusion in my upcoming relic ID book published by American Digger Magazine. It would be really nice to get these copper alloy balls identified once and for all, and showing the complete item is the key to doing that. Can anyone find the originator of this image so that I can reach out to them?

Thank you so much,

Buckleboy

Heh... well well... ole BB... you know you and i have had beef... so here is my hand out... to turn over a new leaf / start over so to speak... i will take this opportunity to try anyway.

Flower sconce from a grave marker... there are 2 main types... one is mounted from that ring area to grave headstone or mausoleum slab... there should be a spot where you would be able to tell an attachment point somewhere around that bulbous ring part that has been broken off.
Then there is hanging ones that sit in a mounted ring which would in turn have no break / attachment point.

That is... if it is in fact what i think it is.

There is also the possibility of oil lamp sconce... again there would be an attachment point on ring area.
