Can anyone help me ID this object. It's about 8cmx4cm found in Europe. It's almost 0.6 Kg.

Can you hear liquid sloshing around inside?

Just get a good 3M organic filter cartridge respirator, thick rubber acid gloves, and open it up.
Might be mercury, or water, or maybe a PM of some sorts, could be just a thick walled vessel.
