I found this two piece button awhile ago. It looks like it has a dotted border around the edge, a cross in the middle and three circles in the middle. Any ideas? Just civilian or something else? I asked because I was thinking, rattlesnake, british or confederate flag, and cannonballs, it can't be revolutionary though because it is a two piece button probably from the mid 1800's so I'm not sure. Sorry about my far fetched guess. I'm just wondering if there is any meaning to the design or the design is just random.
