Thanks for taking a look at these! Found today in a mid-1800s relic area. The first has the head of a soldier or fireman I think.

I agree with Ticndig on the hinge. I think the other thing is maybe a peephole for a door? Just guessing. Possibly an old camera view finder?

Item 1 is part of a 19th C cast iron screen door hinge.

Or from a Magic Lantern (early slide projector). Turn of the 20th C.

Item #3 is a latch key for an Eastlake era mortise lock. 1890 give or take a decade.

Matt, wow, you are phenomenal with these connections! I am so appreciative. To see those images really helps paints a picture of late 19th century life.

Maybe modern? Is there a picture you can find of a similar type?

Not modern. Likely Edwardian as it is a simpler design than Victorian era dressing table pieces. That date is consistent with your other finds.

Every woman and girl from the 1880's to the 1940's had a vanity set which typically included a brush, a hand mirror, and a comb.

This one is 1920's.

Really fascinating - thank you! I’m going to read more about Edwardian Era and early 1900s life and customs now to better understand the context of some of these finds - and maybe what else to expect on the site.
