It looks like a coin of Lombardy-Venetia - like these:

Yes... My bad... My internet is running slow... The coin is in horrible conditions. I think it's really old. Just found a late 1800's Centesimi Vittorio Emanuele II coin around the same area....

You hit the nail on the head!!!!!!! I will try to get a better zoomed in pic of the coin. We will NEVER know if it's a 1 or 3 cent centisimi..... The backside is completely flat... There's no markings on the back. I used my iPhone camera in front of a magnifying glass over the coin to get this shot. lol....

You'll know instantly WON it is a '1' or a '3'.
As bramblefind's post shows, the '1' has a diameter of 18mm, while the '3' is 22mm.
