Mr.Twister,that coin is a 2 reales minted in Mexico City. On the back,after REX,is an M with an o on top.That is the Mexico City mint mark. After that is 2R,for 2 reales. Excellent find! No chance I,ll ever find one of those in Idaho!

SWEET!!!! It's even older than the one I got in early July. Nice find Twister!
The one I got was from sidewalk construction (I have a post in Best Finds on July 8th) it's an 1812 One Reale. Your obverse is better than mine, but my reverse is better than yours, go figure! :D

Here's one somebody drilled a hole through to make it a pendant.It's pretty worn out though.
