I was at work playing in my excavator when I came across this rock some of it is a matte black other parts of it are super shiny almost like glass but there is like a thumb print indent in one of them with goldish glittery Rock substance of sorts I've always been a random rock collector since I was a child of things that would just catch my eye I have never seen this before I have found three but not all in the same location and each one I found does have a random indent in them I can post more pictures if needed I just would like to know what I have found some people say onyx some people say Apache tears another person says that it's just broke glass or it could be a meteorite either way I'm excited to find something new to me anyways can someone please help

You get to play in an excavator? Dang that is lucky. Welcome to the forum from Oklahoma. I couldn't tell you what it was but the way it was found is peaking my interest.

1st - I noticed this was your very first post - so, Welcome Aboard Npenney81! You didn't list your state (or country) in your profile. So, you might consider jumping over to Sub-Forum: Select Your Area.... for information (i.e., clubs, hunts, finds, legends, maps, etc.) directly related to your state (or country). You might also consider adding your state (or country) to your displayed profile (SETTINGS -> EDIT PROFILE) - members may have more success helping you (your location may help, etc.)...

2nd - I moved ya from TODAY'S FINDS! over to ROCKS/GEMS for more exposure.
