Help me ID this ugly dude

A quick hunt in fields of western Bavaria. Found this 1830 5 kreuzer and 1851 1 kreuzer. If you can tell me what the clip/buckle thing and the ugly dude are I'd appreciate it.

Probably a harness decoration, they are found here in shield and other shapes.

I'd go harness deco too. This kind of attachment usually goes through thick leather, so my guess woul be harness brass decoration

The other item looks to be a buckle missing the tongue. A few similar ones in this pic.

Agree, decoration that was attached to leather, belt or harness would be my best guess.

Was too concentrated on the buckle that I don't see the slver coin that steals the show. I'm guessing some grid search will bring more goodies. Good luck rebbel31!

I agree. The larger item is a belt or strap end. And the small item a under garment buckle.
